baby l – 15 days old | newborns

Oooooo baby L was such as sweetheart. He was feisty and totally not interested in sleeping when he first arrived in the studio, but with a little bit of soothing, lots of white noise and a little bit of milk (ok lets be honest a lot of milk) he finally fell asleep and was as adorable as they come. I was so excited when his new momma contacted me for a session as it reminds me of why I love photographing new babies. I met baby L’s momma, Nicole, a few years ago when I photographed a wedding in which she was a bridesmaid. The amazing wedding was actually set in Cancun and Nicole and her sister were in the room right next to mine.  Needless to say we all got pretty close on that trip and so when she got married I was so excited for her and even though I was not able to photograph it myself, I always loved seeing the status updates and hearing about how life is via mutual friends. So anyways, back to baby L… when Nicole & Brett connected with me and wanted to get together for a session to celebrate their first son’s arrival, I was totally ecstatic. He is as perfect as they come and life as you know it will never be the same in all the best ways. Congrats again!! xxx
