Julian – 6 days old | Newborns

Oh Julian how we fell in love with you. Little Mr. J was absolutely the sweetest and ever so calm and sleepy. Not sure if it was due to the fact that he is only 6 days old or if it is just because he knew his new momma and daddy needed a rest after some very busy first days (and nights) at home. Either way, we truly appreciated how amazingly easy he was for us. And those rolls were to die for! So cute!! I pretty much fall in love with most all newborns who visit my studio but those with sweet pudgy rolls – ugh. My heart just melts. Thank you so much to one of my ever favourite clients and her darling hubby for sharing your journey through pregnancy with me and for of course sharing your new love with me. He is one lucky little guy. xxx

Max – 10 days old | Newborns

Oh what a sweet little guy!!! Max was another alert little guy who just loved watching what I was up to. He had the perfect features and was super long (not surprising since his new momma and daddy are tall themselves) and very crafty at working his way out of my wraps.;)After we finally convinced him to sleep he was as good as they come and perfectly tiny.

Nolan – 9 days old | Newborns

How could I have forgotten to blog about my new nephew! Nolan is not only my new nephew he is my ONLY nephew and is just the most adorable and good natured little guy. He had no interest what-so-ever in sleeping at any point when I pulled my camera out but he was calm and as sweet as can be. LOVE! I cannot wait to see his little personality develop as he gets bigger.

tristan – 9 days old | newborns

At only 9 days old Tristan was as sleepy as they come and just adorable. He barely made a peep the entire session yet still managed to let us know his opinions about certain poses. Newborns have a way about them that is almost indescribable and it is amazing to be able to capture that. Little Tristan just melted our hearts and we could already see how he has his momma and daddy wrapped tight around his finger. Such a lucky little family.:)

Such a great family! I realize I say this A LOT but man do I love my job! Having the opportunity to meet a newly engaged couple, photograph them before the big day, sharing their wedding day with them, then seeing them again when they are expecting a baby and AGAIN when that baby is a year old – CRAZY. It is an amazing chance to really see how they grow as a couple and as a family and I love that. Val & Jeff are the perfect example. I literally feel like I have known then forever (even though it may only have been a few years) and it just baffles me that their little guy is already one and running around like a pro. He definitely kept me (and his mom and dad) on our toes as he bolted away from us at most any chance he had, but I think in the end we did pretty good keeping him entertained and excited. Can’t wait to see what the next year holds for you all. xx
