Despite being totally awake for 1/2 of the session, he was as calm and content as could be. We were still able to create lots of great shots while he just watched us. When we finally did lull him to sleep he was again as content and happy as could be expected when your little belly is full and you are all nice and warm and comfy. He had the most perfect skin and the best little baby features. Sweetness at its best.

I met Jenn when our little ones were actually still babies, and we’ve seen one another pretty regularly ever since at our weekly play-dates. Our kids have grown up together and so it was so exciting when her and hubby Lee welcomed their second addition to their family a few months back. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, they felt (or Jenn felt really) that it was time to have some family photos taken and it was so much fun. And I think we did a good job keeping the boys interested in the whole process.

Max was such a little sweetie. He had the cutest features and the most amazing hair. Sandy blonde with just a bit of red. He was super feisty for our session (meaning he wanted to eat NON – STOP) but we still managed to work some of our baby magic and capture lots of great shots showing off his perfect newborn-ness. Thanks again to his new mommy and daddy for bringing him to the studio to show him off. Good luck!

Not only are they close neighbours of mine (we live in the same townhouse complex and are on the same “street”) but their little guy is only a few weeks older than my Charlotte and since we all hang out in front of our houses socializing as the kids play, we have gotten to know one another well over the past year. Charlotte actually asks about Sam ALL THE TIME and apparently he does the same. So cute! So it was such an honour to be asked to capture some family shots for them before the arrival of their next baby, which is due in only 3 weeks! Jamie looks amazing for being 37 weeks pregnant and Sam just adores that yet-to-be-born sibling. It was hard to get him to stop talking to his momma’s tummy. I cannot wait to capture the family of 4 in just a few short weeks!
